c/r river. Villain can bluff with missed straight draws, especially if Villain had pr + SD, and will likely b/f. Villain can V-bet w/ weaker Qx, and will probably ship you their stack. Clearly calling a jam here. Flopped straights (unlikely from an 11/9) and the 3 combos of AQ are all that beat Hero that are reasonably in Villain's range.

Bet moar on turn and really wanna c/c river Given how unlikely it his he has a pair after this flop action. Only see you getting folds or owned ifs you b/f or b/c

c/r this river seems crazy. What calls? Sure villain can bluff, but he's not calling or 3betting air on the river. If he continues to a c/r on river, we're probably crushed. So I just c/c.

Fold pre. Bet turn bigger. River's a weird spot. I don't even know if we're ahead of his range lol.

I'm over-generalizing here. Assuming that none of the following conditions apply:

    1) There is a masssssive fish (like 90/8 type) in the blinds who pays off big post and it's basically a massive race to see who gets his money first.

    2) This is a loose/passive table that you've been running over with raises and iso's and cbets, and players are very obviously getting frustrated with your Tagg (or perceived Lagg) style but are very unlikely to adjust by 3b'ing you a lot pre and are instead adjusting by calling very light and praying they finally hit that hand that's gonna get your stack.

    3) Some other poker-related extenuating circumstance.

Unless one of the above applies, this is a fold pre.

fold pre unless table circumstances dictate otherwise (though i'd raise KQs). turn size looks fine to me. b/f like $0.75 on river (because if he raises he's probably got AQ at worst. 11/9 micro nits dont bluff raise rivers)

also, yeah, if we do check the river i think C/C > C/R. cant see us being a head of a river C/R-calling range

    Turn: ($0.52) Q (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.26, Button calls $0.26, 1 fold

    River: ($1.04) Q (2 players)
    Hero raises to $3.99 (All-In), Button calls $3.87 (All-In)

    Total pot: $8.78 | Rake: $0.58

To be honest, I didnt even consider him being ahead of our hand at the river Q. I just wanted to get the money in. People quite often at this stake call a shove on the river with the 2nd best hand.

As said in the above posts, C/C would have been a better choice here.

HH says you "raised" the river though you are first to act. did you just open-jam or is there a chunk of HH missing?

I think his range on the river is like AQ/55/33 and tough to think of much else

I prolly just c/c. As lolnit as it is, I really can't fathom a hand that's worse that calls the river. You gotta figure he bluffs a non-zero amount when so many draws missed and our range looks insanely weak.

I open jammed the river. Dont know why its showing raised the river! Maybe an error with the converter.

Would you C/C a river shove?

probably not. river overbet shoves will typically be exclusively the nuts here. what do we think about how often villain will have 77-JJ in his range given pre+flop+turn play? surely he will have these hands some % of the time and that would sway us toward b/f'ing river rather than c/c'ing right? to prevent him checking back hands he will call a bet with?

fwiw i dont really like overbet shoving because i expect to only ever get looked up by Qx (very few combos, probably only QJ that we beat) and full houses. same reasoning i dont like C/shoving.
