    Default AQs river spot

Haven't played in a long time, and doing some 2NL to get back to it. I am not even rolled for 5nl on Stars yet. Still waiting to get my roll back from Full Tilt...

    Villain is 29/23, 3b 12.5 and 6AF over 35 hands.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (9 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    saw flop

    SB ($2.01)
    BB ($2.10)
    UTG ($2)
    UTG+1 ($1.65)
    MP1 ($2.10)
    MP2 ($2.12)
    MP3 ($2)
    Hero (CO) ($2.16)
    Button ($5.33)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A, Q
    2 folds, MP1 bets $0.06, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.06, 3 folds

    Flop: ($0.15) K, K, 6 (2 players)
    MP1 checks, Hero checks

    Turn: ($0.15) 2 (2 players)
    MP1 checks, Hero bets $0.09, MP1 calls $0.09

    River: ($0.33) 8 (2 players)
    MP1 bets $0.28, Hero raises to $0.56, MP1 raises to $1.95 (All-In)

Comments on all streets welcome. River he obviously shoves all his FH and quads, but does he shove a flush often enough to justify a call?

IMO - Quads and 66 are out - after your cib otf he woulda c/r'd the turn, possibly even lead out (gotta get some $$$ itp before the draws miss). The 21 hands or more that you beat that he could be shoving (JTd, AK, KQ, KJ etc) vs the 6 that beat you (22, 88) would get me to call. If he turned over KK or 66 then I'd make a BIG note that he slowplays to the river.

I'm calling as the only FH that makes sense is 22 and he can definitely have worse flushes here.

I'm betting flop for value. Prob 3bet pre too. As played, I feel like this river is a fold but at these stakes I call. It's hard to see what he shoves over our raise with that we beat, does he really 3bet shove worse flushes? He's not a limp donkey and neither is hero, so I'm giving him more respect than average for 2nl, but maybe he thinks at 2nl a king is always calling. I don't like calling, but it's likely what I do here.

I minraise it for value against lesser flushes and slow played K's without being completely committed if he shoves over. Also he does not seem to be the type to call a big raise lightly on this board.

Let me know if that does not make any sense.

bet flop, bet turn bigger as played, raise river bigger as played, vs shove is close and probably a fold

bet flop. as played turn looks ok. at first i thought river was a call but his turn/river line is really strong and a lot of his flushes are blocked (A/K/Q) so i might be able to find a fold

Good point on lots of flushes being blocked.

Opponent's line would be a reasonably standard way to play KK.

Also, awesome observation about the small number of possible worse flush hands (basically just JTd and T9d)

For what it's worth, I'd pay this off but I probably shouldn't.
