Meh. I was playing around with the IRC bot I found on the interwebs and it's not very good. I think it will piss people off in general based on it's format.
I discovered a good irc java framework which basically does all the hardwork for me (receiving input messages, on text functions (ie voting to lynch), voicing people, etc. I've also drawn up most of the high level design so I'm going to work on this tonight and over the weekend (when I feel like it).
One thought I had, saw this on a werewolf irc bot forum, is a point system if games are so short. I.e we do 5 minute day time, 2 minute night, game is done in 20-45 minutes depending on amount of people. However, we could save points for those who win over time and track it. For example, if you're a villager and you win and survive to the end, you get X points. If you're a villager and win but you died at some point by lynch Y points. Z points for being a villager who was nommed instead of lynched. Points for being nom on night 1! Points for being seer and looking up a wolf. Etc Etc etc. Ideas?
