    Default 25nl 6max - 2 river bluff spots

Below are two hands from the last week where I decided to bluff river AI.
Though are completely different I decided to put then in on post.
    Please give your comments.

    Hand 1

no read on the villian, 2nd hand, he is 4-6 tabling, looks reggy at first glance

    PokerStars - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

    BB: $14.15
    UTG: $24.96
    MP: $8.82
    CO: $8.77
    BTN: $25.58
    Hero (SB): $25.00

Hero posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

    Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero has A K

UTG raises to $0.75, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $0.65, BB calls $0.50

decided to call - I sometimes do it vs unknowns

    Flop: ($2.25, 3 players) 6 Q 4
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $1.25, Hero raises to $3.75, fold, UTG calls $2.50

    Turn: ($9.75, 2 players) 7
Hero bets $6.25, UTG calls $6.25

    River: ($22.25, 2 players) 8
Hero bets $14.25 and is all-in,

when missed OTR, didn't saw other option then to jam river
I was targeting TP hands like AQ-KQ here, not sure what more to put in his range after turn call? slowplayed sets 66-44? weaker draws - unlikely?

    Hand 2

this one falls into 'rate my spew' category
    villian is 33/30 after 27 hands, 3bets 2/9 so far, cbet 80

    PokerStars - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

    BB: $24.65
    UTG: $25.00
    MP: $23.58
    CO: $13.68
    Hero (BTN): $27.23
    SB: $31.89

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

    Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero has A Q

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.60, SB raises to $2.25, fold, Hero calls $1.65

    Flop: ($4.75, 2 players) 6 7 2
SB bets $3.16, Hero calls $3.16

good board to float given his stats? I know, 27 hands in no sample

    Turn: ($11.07, 2 players) 4
SB checks, Hero bets $6.00, SB calls $6.00

planned to shove any no heart river, except A and Q maybe

    River: ($23.07, 2 players) 6
SB checks, Hero bets $15.82 and is all-in

    any opinions on sizing?
Does the fact that the board pairs weakens our FE?

As always, any feedback will be appreciated

The second one probably works more than the first one, I'm not sure I like either one.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

In both hands we seem to be targetting a very small % of his range.

Hand 1 we're trying to make him fold top pair hands that he's called twice... if he gives you bricked draws in your range then he's getting a decent price to catch you bluffing. He doesn't have many bricked flush draws himself, and besides, we beat the ones he does have, and he probably checks behind on river after we show two streets of strength. Seems to me villain likes his hand enough here.

Hand 2 I can only see villain folding Ahx or Khx hands, again hands we often beat at showdown.

This is why I often like to check rivers after firing flop and turn when I have a nutty hand on drawy board, not only does it give villain chance to bluff his missed draws but it alerts villain to the fact I can be trappy on river, thus allowing me cheap showdowns with marginal showdown hands like middle pair or ace high 6max etc.

I don't have any issues with triple barrelling, but we have to be realistic about how much FE we have when we do it. I don't think we have much in either hand.
