Default Congratulations to the Villagers of Tentville

The protesters in Tentville celebrate as the final hiding banker, Fulksy, has fled the town and disappeared. Bongos are played, kumbaya is sung, and the people of Tentville dance. A memorial is constructed with a statue of Ongbonga to commemorate their fallen friend.

It reads: Here lies our friend and supporter of the village. He was so dedicated to the cause he threw himself in front of a banker's hummer out of sheer spite.

I thought of letting the game play out but it seems it is inevitable the village will win and I haven't heard from Fulksy, the remaining banker, in the last 24 hours so....

Congrats to the remaining living villagers:

    DanAronG
    Supa (THE SEER)
    Hoopy
    Jackvance
    DTB

and hope everyone who played the game enjoyed it.

Please also leave feedback on what you thought of the format. I do regret altering the rules mid game and will be sure to have a clear set of rules from the start of the game...and not start the game hammered.

My thoughts: Two wolf teams probably need a bigger field with 3 on each side. It's hard to tell exactly how handicapped they were as a two man team due to a few mistakes on their part, a few soulreads, and every one of the seer's lookups living except for Gator which was almost past the fact anyway.

Yeah, you are in the best position to make the call if the game is over or not since you truthfully know who was looked up. That was the only chance we had, that supa was lying about his lookups, which would have been epic if that's really what happened.

Thanks for modding. br. Good game, village. I kinda hate being a wolf, I really do. I much prefer finding wolves.

One comment about the format: two two-man wolf teams are cool but with only 17 players, there really shouldn't be 3 villager specials, especially not if the seer gets a lookup every night. It makes it too easy to get to the stage where it's a numbers game. I think 25% wolves/players is the right percentage, but the specials/reg villagers ratio should be far less than 20%.

Game was great, thanks Bigred. Seems like it was too easy on the village side but between phillys outage and 'rillas smackdown on bikes the deal was sealed pretty early. Maybe something like the turncoat role from a previous game could've made endgame more interesting.

    Thanks for modding, BR

I think village just outplayed the wolves this time

I also think the field was too small for 2 wolves team, in a 2 man team once one is dead early it is a numbers game as it is almost impossible to spot the other one

It was obvious to me that bikes was a wolf once it became clear supa was the seer, philly I had my suspicions on, the other two wolves I had no idea about, I certainly didn't think it was benny and fulksy. I owe the village an apology for putting the win at risk, I can make my point without risking modkill but I chose the shouty road instead. I got no complaints.
    Well played village.

Thanks for modding, dude. As far as feedback goes, for a three team format I think wolves need to be increased because they can't collude like a huge one wolf team can and they kill each other. Also, the angel role probably should be stronger, and in a small pool, the traditional seer probably needs a reduction in power.

As far as the turncoat goes, I think that was an absolutely fantastic idea

I think I wanna mod the next game. I'm not sure because I'm incredibly moody, but I made up a ton of new roles I can pick from

    BTW, good job supa

i think i might be getting a tad better, i posted benny and philly as wolves early, and this was the first time gator stood out in anyway to me, i thought he was a wolf, but angel made sense too. his first post seemed really off right from the get go, and he was posting much more then usual early.

it was a little tough with two man teams in a relatively small field. I agree seer was a little to powerful in a smaller game.

Yeah this was rather easy. Maybe the village just got lucky with the 2 early wolf kills, but it seemed stacked in our favor. Making the wolves team 3 man too much in their favor? Cuz that would have made it better. Maybe the field was too small for that though. Or indeed making the specials less powerfull.

    You've definitely gotten better.

I think we're learning different rules as we go along, like no talking about PMs, no talking about who accessed account profiles. Should probably clarify that from here on out. I felt like that PM thing was cheating because Dan said "omg im not the only one bigred", which meant that he had PMd red who called him a dumbass. This would have been suuuuuch a hard to perform level if Dan was a wolf, so it basically proved he was a villager. Which kinda isn't fair. Red told me not to point it out, so I didn't, but I think most everybody saw the same thing since Dan was never in any trouble

You have a point, but I obv did it on purpose. I didn't think that was against the rules or anything. It gave me free rein/reign (not sure which) to not have to worry about looking wolfy for the rest of the game. But I stand by my later post that a wolf could have done the same thing. BR never confirmed or denied the conversation I inferred we'd had.

Nicely modded BR. I think the village had the advantage overall with the rules, maybe weaken the special roles a bit for 2 man teams?

I like the idea of the next game having a recruiting element, maybe start with alpha wolf + N ordinary wolves and have the alpha be able to recruit every other night (up to 6 total say).

thought the game was poorly formatted with 2 2 wolf teams but other than that was solid

Still think the game wasn't bad. Some lucky shots early by the village but woudn't habe a runaway otherwise.

I think quite simply, less than 20 people needs 1 wolf team, more than 20 can handle 2. But I don't wanna reduce the powers or number of specials. Being a wolf/special is the highlight of playing for a lot of people, so reducing the chance of being one, or the power one has when you finally land one, sucks.
