Another raise question?
MP1 is 15/13 Agg 2 cbet 50%(2), turn bet 50%(2) over 56 hands
BB is 11/7 Agg 1.3 3bet 1% over 442 hands
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
UTG ($10.85)
UTG+1 ($12.66)
MP1 ($10.30)
Hero (MP2) ($11.16)
CO ($10.15)
Button ($10.27)
SB ($12.31)
BB ($10)
Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8 , 8
2 folds, MP1 bets $0.30, Hero calls $0.30, 3 folds, BB calls $0.20
Call to set mine obviously.
I put MP1 on 22-AA, ATs+, AJo+, 98s+
I put BB on 22-TT, AJs+, AQo+, SC's possibly as low as 78s+. I discount JJ+ as I think he'd be likely to 3bet squeeze with those. Also discount AK somewhat for the same reason.
Flop: ($0.95) 4 , 9 , 8 (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60, BB calls $0.60
Call here because besides the lowish straight draw the board seems fairly dry and unlikely to have hit either of them hard. Plan is to bomb the turn.
I think MP1 could cbet his entire preflop range on this board.
BB I put on 78, T9, JT. I discount 44 and 99 and 98 here as I think he'd be raising them. TT is also possible.
Turn: ($2.75) J (3 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets $1.36, Hero raises to??
Not the greatest turn card.
BB checking again leaves me thinking 8x, 9x, TT or possibly JT
I put MP1 on KQ, JJ, 99, 44, AJ+, QQ+, TT, T9, 98. I'm ahead of most of that.
Raise to?
My guess would be something like $3.50-$4.00 which(assuming MP1 calls and BB folds as most likely scenario) charges draws and also sets it up for a touch over 1/2 psb to get stacks in on river.
