well you've "trawled through his blinds HH and know his blinds strategy" so you must have some theory.

My theory is that your sample isn't big enough to draw conclusions about his blind profitability and he's run good at getting paid off flopping monsters there.

In general it's gunna be a lot easier to be profitable in the blinds when you're playing passive microstakes games where there isn't nearly as much blind stealing or raising in general and you get more shots to flop 2pr+ with your junk in the blinds. you're also more surrounded by fish who'll pay you off more readily when you do flop big.
