Some of that dead money is me. I'll burn 11 dollars for no reason other than some poker and maybe I'll even play for a few hours before losing with nothing.

I'm in. I usually do crap in this tourney, there's just way too many idiots early on, it's a fucking mine field. I'll go deep sooner or later, hopefully today.

I'm hurting. I don't like being to the right of the guy that I'm developing a back and forth with. Most especially since the back and forth has given him a stack and leaves me nursing.

I'm not worried about my play. Bad or no, I haven't put in the hours required to be really good, so I have to settle with enjoyably alright.

But on that hand, I really thought he could be shoving with all sorts that I'm looking good against or more likely flipping a coin against. And he, above all, was going to be the sort shoving with 77. But immediately afterwards, I could feel my thinking shift to "dammit, I should have known he was more solid than I thought he was."

Yeah, but I think the more practiced response that I should have had would be folding. I'm asking for a lot of bouncing up and down in stack size with accepting to gamble and it would be a better idea to bow out in that spot weighing more heavily the stable value of my stack compared to the times when I have a 1.8xish stack versus a .1xish stack.
