this is the guys first hand at the table he posts then raises cos he posts i'm thinking fishy but i dont wanna get into a big pot with an unknown on his first hand.
I elect to call with the queens as i don't know why I'm raising i've not really got a plan at any point. i wanted to raise the flop but what gives me value. the turn is the same. I really have no idea about this at all.

    pre fine.
    flop fine
    lead turn
blocking the river has its merits as well

as played call river, not very happy about it but it's unlikely he's potting a K so that leaves trips+ he can be clicking buttons enough for this to be a call i think.

He has yet to put a range in any of his post. Agree this WTF spot. I prob fold river, but I would defer to you.

We can still attempt to put villain on a range for the purposes of analysis imo...#justsaying

It's not that hard to deduce a potential range of hands villain is going to bet three streets with.

i apologise for the lack of a range but confused by villain is what i meant. I can't think of any hand that anyone would play in this manner. without any previous reads i didn't have a fucking clue, no idea pre as I have seen many players that post decide to protect there post by raising it. On the flop I don't think its likely that the K helps him and i think he's after a cheap showdown. turn i think will prolly get checked through as the 5 in unlikely to help him but he bets so okay I'm confused or the 5 helped. I am expecting check check on the river when boom he pots it WTF 5s for quads or AIR. or maybe he now feels comfortable with a JJ TT A9 and wants value. I don't know what is reasonable hence the post.

    1. Assign some random button clicks to his range

    2. Realise his range is polarised here and contains few value combos

    3. Infer from this that button clicks make up a decent amount of his range although not a huge proportion.

    4. Weigh this up against the factwe need 33% equity

    5. Decide that we probably have this

    6. Call

    7. Take a note.

    8. Threaten to lock threads.

    9. Ez game.

    I only understand 8

But yeah just call on the river. His line's obviously weird and we don't have to win too often to make it profitable plus we get reads.

can we not 3bet for value pre? surely we can assume a random 5nler flats 3bets wide enough to make it a good spot to 3b for value?

Could you rephrase that. Who are you talking about?
