    Default I hate JJ

Twice in the last few days now I've had JJ pre-flop. The first time I called a short stack all-in to be confronted with 92s. 'Result' I think. 'Trip 9s by the turn' say the poker gods.

The second time I was the one with the short stack, I all-inned my JJ and get called by something ridculous like 83o. 'Finally a win with JJ' I think. 'Trip 3s on the river' say the poker gods.

I'm roughly breaking even at 4NL at the moment, but it can be disheartening when you have a small bankroll and you're going through a tough patch.

Aye, luckily it happened today just as I had to go out anyway, so I was able to just leave the game for a while. Venting here helped too.

Well at least you got your money in when you were ahead. That's all you have to keep doing to eventually be a winning player. Play well and play more.

    I have a question:

What limit are you bankrolled for?
If you're playing higher than your BR then you'll be significantly more results oriented than you should be. Like the previous poster wrote, at least you got it in while you were ahead. Focus on making correct decisions and providing your oponents the opportunity to make mistakes and you'll come out ahead in the long run.
