    Default paying pokerstars?

    Alright, here's the issue:

Since December I've been playing on Pokerstars and FullTilt. My first two checks went through to Pokerstars. I've deposited a bit more money on this site than on FullTilt. Well, now they're bouncing back all my other echecks telling me they didn't clear. Of course, apparently I suck at online poker, so I didn't have any funds in my account. So now my account balance is negative.

I can no longer make deposits with echecks. They won't let me use my mastercard. They won't let me use my visa.

I'm sending them an email right now. I'm sure they'll expect me to get the money through to them some how, but they're making things a huge hassle. And I'm not messing with anything that's going to add additional fees to my already 600 bucks I owe. I don't understand why they kept allowing me to pay if it wasn't going to go through. I'm disappointed in this site.

So basically, if I can't figure out how to pay with echecks or one of my cards, I don't know what's going to happen.

If I refuse to pay them because I don't want to go through some alternative payment method that adds additional fees, what will happen? They can't come after me right? And if they somehow get their payment processors working again 2 years from now will I all of a sudden find myself minus 600 bucks? I doubt that too...but I really don't know how it works.

Please understand I'm not advocating stealing even if that's what it sounds like. I'll do my best, but I'm not paying additional fees that I didn't originally agree to and they're not leaving me many options.

None of my checks have gone through on tilt either. I should probably stop depositing there as well cause I'm sure this same bloody mess will happen with them too.

It's not the poker sites. E-checks from several different states have been banned. I'm assuming by the unlawful UIGEA. You're not the only one facing this: http://www.flopturnriver.com/pokerfo...lp-185323.html

I don't know what courses of action that the poker sites have available to them to recoup their losses. If it were me, I'd eat the fees and pay what's due.

    Hey Bob,

I can't guarantee but I think it's highly unlikely you will be charged any additional fees from PokerStars.

Let me make sure I understand your situation correctly - You deposited around $600 on PokerStars, the money was in your account, you ended up losing the money, then afterwards your eChecks deposit came back denied and now you're sitting with a -$600 balance in your account?

I think maybe I need to clarify: the fees that I mentioned were western union fees for the wire transfer, not any additional fees from pokerstars. Sorry if I was unclear.
