Full Tilt Poker Weekly News Update 01/14/2013
1. Mini FTOPS in full swing
18 events are already behind us and we have 17 more left before the end of Mini FTOPS. So far the series has been a success with huge paydays being dealt out left and right. Most of the final tables have been dominated by the Canadians and Russian, so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top by the end of the series.
The biggest tournaments of the series are still ahead, with the 2-day $216 buy in multi – entry tournament being held on January 19th and of course the Main Event, which will be held on January 20th with a $75 buy in and will also be a multi – entry tournament. So don’t miss out on multiple chances to take down the biggest tournaments of the series!
2. Isildur1 tearing up the high stakes games
If Viktor "Isildur1" Blom made any wishes on New Years eve, they are probably coming true. From the very beginning of 2013 he has been crushing everyone he came across at any game formats across Full Tilt Poker. By the 10th of January he was up over $4,000,000, with huge chunks of that sum being donated by well established pro’s like Ben Sulsky and Alexander Kostritsyn.
During the last few sessions, however, Isildur1 gave back almost $500,000 to Ben Sulsky in a PLO session. With high stakes action heating up, seems that pre – Black Friday games might return to Full Tilt Poker very soon.
Don't miss the chance to play with Isildur1 at the low stakes Challenge Tables only on Full Tilt Poker!
3. Software updates
Today Full Tilt Poker has released a small software update, which was mostly for some bugs in the client. There have not been any serious updates on Full Tilt Poker since the restart, however, Shyam Markus, a manager at Full Tilt, mentioned that up until now they have mostly been dealing with re - launch issues and can now start focusing on more serious updates.
