    Question Turn Aggression

    I use PokerTableRatings.com's ReportCard feature to keep an eye on my performance. It has really helped a lot to plug some leaks I had. However, I still have

    You are 23% more aggressive than optimal. Be somewhat less aggressive.
    under my TURN AGGRESSION

    I just can't seem to get my head around this? Am I betting a lot on the TURN? I have tried Checking and Calling the TURN cautiously and still I just can't seem to get this number down. What am I doing wrong? This data is from 10K+ hands so there is something that I am not doing right.

    I do however, float every now and then and then take the pot down on the TURN if I sense weakness.

    Would really appreciate if someone could shed some light on this.

    Just ignore these PTR pseudo-stats. A better tool is for example Leakbuster with HEM. And even then, you need quite a large sample to have meaningful stats on the turn and river.

    That's a very small sample size for turn aggression so I wouldn't put too much stock into it.

    You can always post hands that you have questions on.

    "Optimal": refers to the average of all tracked players as far as I'm aware. Since most of these players are terrible, it's not a very solid median to be aiming for and is fairly meaningless.

    I just figured id drop you a line to inform you that I just came across pokertablerankings a week ago and was just looking at it for kix and gigglez until I realized it was tracking as BAD/MINUMUM amount of 10% of all your hands played.Do some research on it .Its completely and utterly wasteless...To innaccurate

    try_2_improve - I understand being upset at some prior posts and thinking everyone is out to get you. Sometimes older posters can be a little "mean" to "newbies" but I think you'll find that even if they do seem mean, they're only trying to help.

    That said, JR9477's post was a serious question so please refrain from lashing out unless it's warranted.
