I guess he either was trying to slow play some big PP or he is bluffing with total air.
Villain was 38/5 over 40 hands.

Looks like a big PP that is scared of the A.
I call as played but it's pretty meh-obvious what he has here. Make a note
[00:29] <daven> dc, why not check turn behind
    [00:30] <DC> daven
    [00:30] <DC> on my hand?
    [00:30] <daven> yep
    [00:30] <DC> because I am drunk
    [00:30] <daven> nice reason
    [00:30] <daven> no further questions

I really want to bet this flop, especially where he's the PFR and doesn't follow through with a cbet on a very dry board like this, it looks exactly lot like a PP scared of the A... on the other hand because the board is so dry you're really only repping the A by betting the flop so he's gonna think you're FOS a lot of the time. If you have a read that he's aware enough to lay down hands as opposed to the typical fish thinking of "QQ is a good hand I call who cares if there's an A on the board" though I think a flop bet is good here, with the possibility of firing dry turns like this one if checked to since it probably takes 2 barrels to get villain off his hand here a fair amount of the time.
