    Default Stoopid Banner @ Bottom of Page

    Do you guys see the banner at the bottom of the window? It has a "T" icon on the left along with other ad links across the bottom.

    I've seen these pop up on many sites in the last few days and I hate them. I can't figure out how to block them either.

    My question to FTR is, why do you want this crap on your web site?
    Explain...what I do for a living without saying "I make monies in da 600 enels by pwnin' tha donk bitches". Instead I say "I'm a online financial redistribution broker". - Sasquach991

    Here's the deal: I'm out-of-state visiting my Mom. She has a crappy netbook. She said these banners just started in the last few days. I found some info on Google that suggested that these banners are coded by the web site by choice.

    Other than Google, posting here is my first attempt to fix this shit. I figured I'd get some good info from you guys. Thanks for the love!

    Here's a screenshot of the banner at the bottom of the page. I put the brown square around it. I obviously need to clean some adware out of this netbook.

    Try to identify what programme is running it, go to add/remove programmes, and remove that bitch. If that doesn't work, anti-virus software or some shit like that. I don't have that banner on my screen. It's not FTR, it's spyware, some crap you probably downloaded by not unclicking boxes when downloading something legit.

    do you use firefox or chrome? probably need to uninstall the addon/extension.

    I got that on my computer when the wife downloaded some Facebook app. They snuck that in with the package. It's spyware but easy to remove.
