Default 50nl got tricky with QQ v a baddie

Not my normal stakes (I play 25nl) but I decided to take a shot because the table was awesome. Villain was running like 45/25ish and is the soft spot at the table.

My image at this point is pretty solid and he had been folding to my 3 bets a lot. I basically wanted to play pots with this guy and not blow him out so I decided to flat pre. Looking back, I probably should have check raised this flop but I didn't so w/e. I lead the turn BC I think he is checking back a lot with weakish made hands, but will definitely flat with that same range.

I thought it was weird that at times he seemed a bit spewy post flop and at other times he would seem kind of solid. In my mind his range is still wide as fuck when he min raises the turn. So how should I play against a range that includes a lot of hands that I am a favorite over and a lot of hands that beat me? I would hate to flat here and have to check/fold the river if he shoved, but maybe that is the correct play? idk

I could also say "fuck it hes bad" and just shove but I'm not sure I would be that far ahead (if ahead at all) of his AI calling range here on the turn.

I know a lot of you will probably hate my line but I did explain why I did what and everything was for a reason. Who does what differently? And as played, what are you guys doing on the turn? Please help me I suck.

    Thanks in advance

in position flatting pre is okay (i'd prob still 3bet), OOP it's much better to 3bet preflop and get HU with shallower SPR rather than invite BB to call and play a 3way pot.

i think he's got 98/AJ/KJ etc at least as often as JJ/JT/97, so ship it in

YOu say he's been folding to your 3bets often, so he might be getting frustrated. This is the perfect time to 3bet again, and hope he 4bets and/or gets it in ligt.

As played, your line is confusing, no clue what he thinks of it.

I'd just c/c down if I don't c/r flop. If I lead the turn like this I'm never folding.

please don't lead turn if a min raise is gonna confuse you enough to induce making a thread about it
