    Default 10nl KK in SB

villian is 27/4 over 45 hands with no significant reads other than the numbers. because he is limping or calling alot more than raising i'm guessing he likes to see flops and probably plays too wide a range, and too passively. so preflop i'm guess he's flatting with 88+, AQ+,KQ. it may be far wider but i dont know him so that's a nice middlish range. flop i am hoping to keep 99-JJ in or maybe even AK, hence the slightly smaller than standard bet. i think he call with 22,88,QQ+,AQ,KQ and maybe some other shit like 99-JJ because "i put him on big slick". the turn leaves him only one combo of 22. now i look at it, i think this must have been pretty early in the 45 sample because i remember looking at his vpip/pfr, seeing they wer relatively close together, and thinking he was too nitty to play top pair or 99-JJ really badly in this spot so i checked to him with intentions of c/c'ing and shoving for 1/2 pot on the river (because his Qx hands will be getting 3:1 and the 2 on the turn made sets a smaller part of his range), or safely vbetting the river if he checks behind (because i feel a turn check weakens his range easily enough to vbet into). my reaction to the river was "oh no, now his whole range has me crushed, i'd better check. he's not calling with worse". his stack was in the middle almost befor i'd checked. i didn't think he was ever bluffing here because that card looks really scary to everything but 22,88,QQ and AQ. i'm interested to know how you guys react on the mostly the turn. it's a bit hard because the HEM stats i have on him in the database, where i copied this HH from, are from after the session, and at the time i remember thinking he was kind of weak and nitty, so fuck knows what his stats were then. anyway.
    preferred turn play and why?

I'd 3bet to 1.20 pre. There's no reason not to; you're OOP and it's great to get more value out of your premium holding. As played, flop is fine, I'd probably still be leading the turn though but c/c is fine too. Don't see any point in c/raising the turn as you're trying to keep Qx, 8x, PP type of hands in and everything else absolutely crushes you. The river is obviously not a good card for you and this becomes a pretty tough spot. Even with your odds c/c is really thin here and it sucks that you don't have a read on him which would really help you out in this situation as his range is so polarized. If you don't think he's capable of doing this with A high or semibluffing with a mid PP then you can probably lay it down...

The turn doesn't really improve his range, and I'd assume you would cbet that flop with almost all of your 3betting preflop range. I would bet a little less than your flop bet to try to represent a hopeless bluff with AK. If he flats then you're still getting value from Qx. If he raises I would just call a smaller raise(like min, i iz scared of the 88) and reraise a larger raise. I don't see him really folding any hand on the turn to this weak line of play.

    Fold.
Just think why he calls your 3bet preflop.

Generally better to 3bet more oop but whatever.

Just lead turn for value or c/r all in - as played river fold is fine.

checking the turn is silly this isn't 2005

PF is fine, flop cbet sizing is fine, if you insist on checking the turn, c/jam it ffs. AQ/KQ/QJ, FDs, 88, are all going to be calling.

Also you put him on 88+ PF, then u say he calls with 22 on the flop, you can't add hands as the hand goes on, only remove them.

turn is obv the worst part of the hand by a mile, but that's been covered.

reads on MP are good to determine 3bet sizing, but i'd just make this like 4x's against most 1/2-stacking fish. if it were someone we would EVER consider 3ballin', 1.00 would be good 100bb's deep.
