10nl KK in SB
villian is 27/4 over 45 hands with no significant reads other than the numbers. because he is limping or calling alot more than raising i'm guessing he likes to see flops and probably plays too wide a range, and too passively. so preflop i'm guess he's flatting with 88+, AQ+,KQ. it may be far wider but i dont know him so that's a nice middlish range. flop i am hoping to keep 99-JJ in or maybe even AK, hence the slightly smaller than standard bet. i think he call with 22,88,QQ+,AQ,KQ and maybe some other shit like 99-JJ because "i put him on big slick". the turn leaves him only one combo of 22. now i look at it, i think this must have been pretty early in the 45 sample because i remember looking at his vpip/pfr, seeing they wer relatively close together, and thinking he was too nitty to play top pair or 99-JJ really badly in this spot so i checked to him with intentions of c/c'ing and shoving for 1/2 pot on the river (because his Qx hands will be getting 3:1 and the 2 on the turn made sets a smaller part of his range), or safely vbetting the river if he checks behind (because i feel a turn check weakens his range easily enough to vbet into). my reaction to the river was "oh no, now his whole range has me crushed, i'd better check. he's not calling with worse". his stack was in the middle almost befor i'd checked. i didn't think he was ever bluffing here because that card looks really scary to everything but 22,88,QQ and AQ. i'm interested to know how you guys react on the mostly the turn. it's a bit hard because the HEM stats i have on him in the database, where i copied this HH from, are from after the session, and at the time i remember thinking he was kind of weak and nitty, so fuck knows what his stats were then. anyway.
