quick shots:
JTo hand that hit a straight- i'd raise the turn more (or just shove) since we know that he either has a nut type hand that is never folding or a draw that we wanna give a bad price to. any bigger than you made it is gonna make for a really tiny amount left on the river, but against a fish this big, it really doesn't matter.
even more importantly, regardless of whether you're running a hud or not (but especially if you aren't) you should at the very very least check the HH to see what he showed down, and then of course note it.
~3:20, Q7s- again, didn't seem like you were much paying attention to the tables to compensate for the fact you weren't running a HUD. UTG limped in the first hand (you had Q8o, which i often iso OTB, but obv it's not easy to play these hands), and now he open limped again, so i would like to start to test the waters with a hand that plays pretty decently IP
~5:00, A4s in multi-way limped pot- you have double backdoor draws on the driest board in the world. yeah it's like 5-way and it's 2nl, so this might not be the best spot to stab, but i just thought i'd let you know that this isn't a snap check like you dismissed it as in the video. if it were like 3-way, my standard is to do something along the lines of 1/2-2/3 PSB flop and barrel any 2, 4, 5, A or club close to pot (assuming it goes HU)
7:00, 33 in the BB- you like ninja checked this without even mentioning it. my standard is to open here 100bb's deep because A) we give ourself an opportunity to get the dead money in the pot and keep the initiative if we don't get it PF and B) we're like never stacking him in a limped pot, but if we make the pot bigger PF with a hand with potential, then we multiply his inevitable postflop mistakes. of course, we're not like ever seeing a cheap showdown since we're OOP, so this play isn't good against EVERYONE, but against your standard 2nl fish, the pros outweigh the cons imo
(btw, i just started doing this in the past couple months and have found the benefits [especially picking up the dead money] to be far superior, but i'm still open for discussion on iso'ing small PP's out of the blinds 100bbs deep)
7:00, AJo in 3b pot- your thought process for the 3b and for the cbet seemed very summary and unsatisfactory. i'm not going to specifically comment on how i would play this hand and whether or not you played it correctly, but it seems like you put very little consideration into the important factors of the hand: what range do they have on the flop? how much of their range are they continuing with? what is my plan for the turn (in other words, are there any turns we will barrel and how do we feel about our hand if a J hits? if an A hits?), etc.
this is far superior to "there aren't any face cards, so it didn't hit anyone's range, bet!" or, "this pot's getting big, i have nothing, CHECK!"
8:45, J9o in BB in bvb- STEAL! you're IP with a playable hand HU against a weak range
9:14 - i would open my entire range for 4bb's from the MP at any 2nl table. you can change your bet sizing in the CO if you tend to open a little lighter there and i would def open for 3bbs from the BU.
that's it for now. i'd spend some time thinking about that AJo hand, though, and maybe even post it to get some other eyes on it
