Villian was 59/10 over 60 hands in first hand and had been SUPER stationy, like calling 3 barrels with A high stationy. He was bad enough when our table broke down to just us two i played him HU for a while until we got players back.

Most of the hands we played together i was just folding unless i had something, in which case i was just firing away which he called. In this one i feel like i should have raised the flop especially to protect my hand, but im not sure how to get the most value since he is likely shutting down if i raise flop, then again he might just call his stack off regardless. Thoughts?

how does he play post flop? you know hes super stationary pre and post...but when he raises pre..does he often fire 3 barrels? does he raise pre and then check call 3 streets? hows it work?

2nd hand....whats his range? PFR is 10% which is pretty tight. He calls with ace high but does he bet 3streets with Ahigh? Again PFR is very tight so maybe hands like 76,56 are not here enough that the river is a call.

Like i said there is pretty much no history of him firing at me. If i d a hand of any kind i was betting, and he was calling. Otherwise i just folded my air. Like really the hole HU time was just like me waiting to make mid pair then getting 3 streets on it.

Hand 1: Raise flop. Any diamond on the turn kills our action, and he could very well have a higher diamond and is drawing. So raise, bet turn, bet river.

Hand 2: This is fine.

Against stations I prefer betting and raising a wider range of value hands. Put another way, I raise both hands on the flop.

Agree with raising flop in Hand 1

My first impression for Hand 2 is that calling down is the best line since we know nothing about his likely 3-barrel range or his b/c and c/c down range. It prevents us from getting re-raised and having to give up our suckout equity and prevents us from value-towning ourselves. Raising gets value when he has top pair or a draw.
