Villain is ct112, a very good player 21/14 with 5% 3bet
He 3bet a couple orbits earlier on this table when we were deep and quite a few times on other tables. He has won most of those hands with me folding pre or on crappy flops. River is most interesting imo

Your line looks like either a missed draw, KQ, AQ, or even KK. Do you sometimes flat pre with KK?

If he thinks your range is solely AQ or missed draws - it wouldn't make sense for him to bet with a weaker hand.

What do you think about a small raise on the turn? It will surely take control of the betting unless you're up against a set. Keep in mind though that the amount you put in on the turn includes the last chips you are willing to invest in this pot. I think it's the cheapest way to succeed in this hand.

weird, i don't really get why he would barrel with a jack, if he wanted to catch a float he'd c/c and it's not like you have so many draws, he looks exactly like AQ or better to me, or a sick leveling bluff

HEY ! I'm new to this forum ... Here's my take anyway !

I think that flat calling flop and turn makes it easy for him to put you on a hand... AQ or drawing AK. KK is possible too, if you think he knows you could flat call KK the whole way. He is definetly not putting you on QQ or JJ with the flat call on the drawy flop. Knowing that, it is probable that villain is representing stronger (AA, QQ, KK, JJ) to be able to draw for his AK flush and still have a more than decent bluff opportunity on the river if he misses.

So in my opinion, R/F on the flop would be best option. Getting a better read of villain hand and limiting pot size on a weak AQ.

And fold the 250 river bet on your line... missing too many clues.

AQ/KQ is the best hand you can have on this river.... and your most likely holding. His river bet sizing looks like he wants a call.... and with all draws bricking, I think he should expect to get a call quite often.

Without knowing more info about his 3bet pot/3 barreling tendencies, Im folding this time.

strong hands wud generally raise the flop. maybe some weaker made hands tryin to do what u posted. draws would probably flat this deep, gettin a decent price

i would probably raise the turn as it makes his river tough to play OOP for all but his nut range which he will probably either 4bet the turn or lead out substantially on the river with, in which case we fold. this is probably the best way to get to a SD which is essentially what you are after with tptk against this opponent i think.

as it was played i dont think AQ is good at showdown given he lead two streets OOP and the bet sizing on river.
