    Default 10NL: c/c river good ?

    Villian Stats : (VP$IP/PFR [Street Aggression] 3-bet%)

    BTN: 33/18 [3 2 inf] 4% over 87 hands.

    My Thoughts And Questions

Flop very drawy and seeing that the turn bricks and the villian flatted the flop i got to put alot of draws in his range and believe my J here is good enough of the time. He might even fold a AJ here some of the times with me strongly representing the Q.

On the river my hand is now a bluff catcher as i dont see a point leading river with only better hands calling me and busted draws folding. Looking at villian he seems aggro enough to be bluffing a busted draw. I would actually prefer he bet the river a bit bigger as i think that would make more of this range bluffs. Is my call good?

    Poker Stars $0.05/$0.10 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players

    BTN: $10.00
    SB: $23.05
    BB: $10.00
    Hero (UTG): $10.65
    CO: $5.35

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is UTG with J T
Hero raises to $0.30, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.30, 2 folds

    Flop: ($0.75) J 8 Q (2 players)
Hero bets $0.50, BTN calls $0.50

    Turn: ($1.75) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, BTN calls $1.30

    River: ($4.35) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.55, Hero calls $2.55

wait so is your jack good and you're betting for value or is he folding AJ and you're betting as a bluff?

I'm not sure if it's a good line, but I c/c turn and c/f river
I think he doesn't have a draw that often because a lot of the time he'd raise it on the flop if it's a strong draw, and bet turn if it's a weak draw to give up on the river

btw what are you doing when he raises the flop?

I was thinking that there are so many draws out there that my J is good here a lot, and on some occasssions it wont be with him holding AJ (non diamonds) but i think he might even find a fold with it occassionally.

Yeah if get raised on flop without reads i am in so many types of ugly its not funny. How do you handle medium strength hands OOP vs aggressive villian on a drawy board ?

I do agree now looking at it, that an aggressive villain would raise his good draws. So does his call then tell us that he has a weak made hand and/or a weak draw? Wouldnt the turn barrel then make more sense ?

Are you cbetting this flop? What are you doing if raised ?

Checking the river making him consider that u miss diamond flush and not have much on this hand
I think he has at least one pairs in this round

But I'm not sure call the river with this is a good choice
coz maybe he has a better pair or a better kicker than you
