I was wondering about the size of my betting on this hand. Villain is 46/11.

I half pot bet flop because it was a dry board.
Half pot on turn with intentions of under repping my hand and getting more in on river.
Then river comes spade and I thought that might scare him a bit so I only bet half .

Standard? Anywhere I should have increased bet size?

Bet 18-20c on the flop. Not because you expect him to have a hand here a lot, but he'll often float, because it's such an obvious board to c-bet bluff.

I bet more on the turn and shove the river fwiw. Get as much money in as possible...
I don't know how often I've said it... just look at your line and compare how much more often he needs to call here to make small bets more profitable than big ones.
Adding to the fact that most microstakes villains have little understanding how a bet even relates to the pot size, I would always go with the bigger bets.

I dunno I think IPITS. Seems like you got a decent value here. If rr you on the river you have a definite decision to make. It really depends on the size of the raise though.

I don't think under repping your hand here is going to bring along many more villains than taking a straight value line would. Especially at these stakes. Get as much value as you can out of your hands. Listen to Oskar and compute how many more villains would need to come along with your line than a straight value line to make it profitable. Are you really going to get 4 times as many villains on each street than with a pot/pot/pot line?

I tend to believe players with > 40 vpip at FR are trying to give me their money. Is this bad? It's a habit I've acquired from a friend who got me into online poker.

flop bet size is fine imo.. but the turn and river are at least 3/4 of the pot. a lot of players with >40 vpip will call down lots of shit aces here...

3/4ths the pot or bet pot the whole way down. This is micro stakes and people love A-J and A-Q and will go all the way to the river with it. I agree with oskar 100%. Try and only really milk made hands. Don't be to fancy lol. Shoot you don't even have to milk made hands half the time when your playing micros unless you have a tight table or your up against a good player.

A more poker-applicable way of saying that is that they are playing a range of hands that your typical raising range has a solid equity advantage against. Given this, whenever they choose to play with you, their preflop calls are costing them some money. Since we should be able to outplay them postflop as well, we can fold when they've outflopped us and valuetown them when the situation arises (this one, for ex.) and make even more money. Think of all things in term of EV and you'll be fine.

sizing on flop and turn I like if you're using this with air/bluffs, river should be bigger, he's either calling or he isn't, maximize the times when he calls.

OP - I like you're bet size on the flop. As for the rest of the streets - 1/2 pot on the flop is fine. I might go 3/4 on the turn and pot on the river. But I don't hate your line here.
