Hero flops the nuts on a dangerous flop

I think you have to call river, price is just too big.

vs unknown I would usually not pot the turn as most of the hands that we wanted to be in against will have a pretty easy fold. 2/3 PS or so. If you have a decent opinion of them you probably have to put them on more than just a FD which makes a turn check better imo.

This is probably a pretty basic question, but if we put opp on a FD, what sized bet do we need to make to give him the wrong implied odds to chase?

two of the clubs pair the board so he may not like them as much although we of course know he's in good shape with those.

implied odds depend on whether you're calling the last bet. I again have no idea what the micro omaha tables are like but you can happy fold to a shove vs any 99.9% of players at 1/2 when a club hits so their implied odds vs me would be zero. You see a lot of people willing to bluff missed FDs but a lot less willing to fire when they get there without them especially with the action in this hand.

OK, so if we ignore implied odds (as they are largely irrelevant here), what is the advantage of putting in 2/3 pot on turn versus 1/2 pot? Surely 1/2 pot gives him the wrong odds to chase the FD?

I think the offsuit K is nowhere near one of the worst cards in the deck for us.

I'm struggling to put villain on anything other than a club draw. Perhaps something like 9TJQ, in which case or 9TQK in which case

There's a small chance he has AJ+NFD, and we just have to pay that off

No I'm not checking behind on the turn, I think I still got the best hand, and with only a half pot left after a bet and call it's fine to pump it.

I think you played it fine, river is a call IMO, pot is too big and the K is not that terrible a card, it only helped his hand if he had AJ
