    Default ptBB/100 v BB/100

I'm a ring-game noob so these questions are probably pretty basic....

Is there any difference between ptBB/100 v BB/100?

I have HEM and this gives BB/100. What kind of BB/100 should I be aiming at the $25nl (I assume $25nl is the $0.10/$0.25 game on PS)?

    ptbb/100 = BB/100 - it is big bets / 100 hands. a big bet is 2x the big blind.

    bb/100 - blig blinds / 100 hands.

So someone who is earning 5ptBB/100 is earning 10BB/100?
  4. #4
someone earning 5ptbb/100 wins exactly 1 buy-in every 1,000 hands

(10 big blinds per 100 hands)

a BB is not a big blind, it is 2x the BB

Capitalized BB = Big Bets (think limit hold em)
Lower Case bb = big blinds (think no limit)

    ptbb/100 = BB/100 (both are Big Bets)
    bb/100 = big blinds/100 (big blinds)

SOOOO off topic but goddamn. Who is that girl in your picture dranger?
    OP: Beginner to Master

If I bet as a bluff, I should be thinking "am I getting better hands to fold? Is it likely that he will fold x% of the time to a y sized bet to make it +EV?". If I bet for value, I should be thinking "am I getting worst hands to call? Am I ahead of enough of his range that this is a good value bet?".
