Default AK rivers trips vs river CRAI

Thoughts? x-post from my operation threadz.

Semi-interesting hand from today. I don't bet turn as it's obv a scare card for most his range if he doesn't already have me crushed. Bet river for value, ldo. I can't see many players c/r this river with air or less as a bluff or value at these steaks. Also, I doubt many Ax hands arte in his range too. AJ/22/66 are the only hands that make sense for villain here 9/4's luhlz.

I would put him on either 66 or 22. I think he would have bet the flop rather than check/call if he had AJ.

whatever he had he's going to be at 25nl a long time playing it that way

any reads on what he has been limp calling with preflop? What about how often he slow plays? Also how aggressive were you being?

His turn check is kinda weird because I would expect him to be betting any ace in his range and all sets in his range, which is basically his entire range at this point.

The only thing I can think of is he was either going for a check raise on the turn /w AJ/set or maybe he has KK/QQ and turned his hand into a bluff since maybe he thinks its unlikely you have an ace on the river.

    Def a fold though.

I'd bet the turn almost always. I like the c bet, but why are we slowing down when we make our hand? His range to call the flop is prolly something like [22, 66, 77-QQ, J9s J10 QJ KJ AJ, A6s, 67s, 56s (maybe random donk floats with AQ A10.)] On the turn we are far enough ahead of this to b/f for value like 100% of the time imo.

The river is awkward and it does look as though you beat nothing here.
