Preflop how many 6-max players raise AJo from UTG? I do it at a loose table where I expect to get called by worse and where there are some really bad players.
We made TPTK on the flop and I just check it to him since I expect him to make a bet given his aggressive play. I call because I want him to keep bluffing and if I raise the flop I expect to only get called by the top end of his range, or only the hands that we're losing to.
Again I check the turn on a decent card because I want him to continue betting and I'll continue calling. He does bet and I call.
The river brings a 2 and the flush doesn't complete. This is the spot where I'm not sure what I want to do. I think because he is aggressive that he'll have air or a weak hand a lot of the time here, so do I want to just check and have him check it back? On the other hand, if I do check to him he may bet a 5, 88-TT, and continue bluffing on a missed flush. Do I value bet or check again?
Results in white below:
I made a small bet of $2.50 into $5.35 hoping for a call and he insta folded.
