the SPR is 5 so you can stack off

not sure what you mean by that terminology. I should call his all in? Why? What is your reasoning? SOOO many hands have us beat here.

Ok but why is that still worthy of a call? Whats the reasoning behind making the call besides that he has a small stack? His range is huge and I see it as a waste of money to make the call when it's so easily beaten.

stack to pot ratio is 5
our "commitment threshold" changes depending on SPR or stack to pot ratio

for example, if we limp AK we are no looking to go all in against a bunch of limpers, we just want to flop top pair and put in two bets and take down a modest pot
but if we 3b someone we want to go broke with top pair because we

this is because the pot is so large it makes our villain's range wider since he has more incentive to go all in
sure, lots of hands have us beat, but we are getting such great odds that we can't fold

we need to call $1.15 to $3.27 pot which means the total pot size is $4.42 so you need 25% equity

I just made a range of the "nut hands" that want to stack off here:

and if he does something retarded with AQ all the better
if you were going to fold to his shove don't even bet the turn, dude
that's the weakest line you could take since you lose shit tons of money and don't even see a showdown for a miracle card

it's like your pot odds are so good it's hard to fold when he could in fact be getting crazy with ridiculous hands
and the wider his range is the better your odds are
I missed KJ, but it's only a few hands anyway
  8. #8
Why did u bet the turn so hard (or indeed at all) if u were folding to a shove? Would u have folded river if he flat called and shoved a blank?
There's only one system. Bet. Lose. Borrow. Steal. Lose. Take the drugs. Lose. Prison. Death.

He fell short of a min raise....
  10. #10
Um... call. Since you fired the turn hard, it's a call every time here since it's a horseshit min-raise from a short-stack.

    Turn bet/fold is atrocious.
