Default ~70kVPP in 3 months prop bet at 50NL/100NL only

Was talking to some people and thought maybe others might be interested in taking the prop bet as well. Currently I have 127.4k VPP's and need about 73kish VPP more to reach the 200KVPP mark and get the $2k milestone bonus. I plan on playing a lot of hours next three months and trying to achieve that goal.

    Some info on the bet:

    - I will only be playing 50NL/100NL 6max until I hit the 200k VPP mark.

    - No odds on the bet, striaght 1:1:.

    - I will only be taking up to $1000 in bets as I do not want to lose more than that if I do not reach my goal.

    - $100 minimum or $300 maximum per person.

    - Stacks has agreed to escrow this prop bet. <3

    - If you are an known FTR reg who posts, then I do not think an escrow is required since it is so little monies but we can still use stacks if u prefer.

    - This offer will be open until October 5th. I'll be away this weekend and will be getting back oct 5th and whoever shows interest by then will be in.

If your interested and taking the prop bet, please reply or PM me. And if you require further info or proof of VPP etc, i can ezily take ss's n put em up.

Main reason for me doing this is to motivate myself! If i have something to lose, I feel as if I will play more serious!

    Wish me luck :P

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

how many hands do you typically put in a month? what is your largets hands/month ever?

i may be interested in $200-$300 as a fun sweat.

is there a positive winrate clause?
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

I'm kinda interested, mainly because we're both at like 125k'ish VPP's and I'm also going for the 200k milestone. Only difference is I'm playing 200NL, however I think it may be offset since I'm in school, mid-terms next week already, yadi yada, all that BS. What happens if we both make it at the end of the year? Is it a tie? I hope it's not a race, I think that mentality would be -EV.

Hmmm yea I should've added that in the original post. Yea I would need a positive winrate, nething in the green is ok.

I usually do 50-60kish hands per month but obviously I plan on increasing that by as much as I can for the next three months and play some seriouz poka.

The prop bet is mainly just if I can make it to the 200kVPP or not. But if you want to something like that then I'm all up for it as well. This prop bet isnt to make monies as much as it is to motivate me.

We can do something where we bet $200-$300. If we both fail or reach our goal, the bet cancels out. If one of us reaches the goal and the other doesnt, then the loser pays the winner. I think that way both of us will get motivated. Let me know if your interested in that so we can set it up.

There was a time where I tried 24 tabling FR 100NL for awhile (back around April/May). So those months would be my largest hand sample size. I do not plan on playing any FR at all for this prop bet.

So the bet would be whether or not we hit 200K right? No racing involved, if we both make it, we tie. If we both don't make it, regardless of who's in front, we tie.

    I'm at 125,099 right now.

When do you want to know by? I want to figure out if this will be +EV for my game... I want to put in volume because I think it will be a waste if I don't go for it. I'm also not a fan of putting in volume for the sake of getting more hands for the fear of auto-piloting.

That is correct. No race or anything, if we both make it, its a tie (and i will be hoping we both do make it!). I would like to know by October 5th. Good motivator IMO =D

Alright, I'll make sure I get back to you before then. Keep in mind I'll probably have a couple sessions in before then, so I won't be at 125K... (I'm actually wondering if I can squeeze in 4500 VPP's in before the end of the month to get the rest of the September bonuses.. the small ones 200/40/8)

Either way, I'll get back to you in this thread letting you know if I'm game.

Probably not down to do this. I have confidence that I'll make it, but I don't want anything hindering my actual play, with any sort of prop bet. GL to you, I'm sure you'll do it.

    +1

I have like the same amount of vpps to clear but I am still in the process of moving up so I feel it's best to avoid unecessary pressure to get hands in.

Yeah I was thinking the same. I need 75k vpps for the 400k milestone but I'm getting the veeps an awful lot slower these days 10 tabling...

I think the $2k should be motivation enough to get there without needing a prop bet. This isn't actually that hard to achieve, since Ronfar is going to reach elite this year playing 90% 100nl, and without specifying why it will be tough for you (time constrictions in life/ you don't play many tables etc.etc), I don't think you will get any action on this.

    GL reaching it though!
