Usually I just chalk this up to, "Well, in this case if I'm beat I'm just going to get beat" but I thought I'd get you guys' input on anything I should've done different. Thanks.

Pretty steep PFR, but if they're calling all the better. Drawy flop, you played it perfectly.

Without knowing your table, I'd raise less preflop. It's good they came with you though.

On the flop, I wouldn't play it any differently. You've got an overpair to the board so it's a solid bet, you've been reraised but you're more than likely still good so stick it in!

Thanks... the reason I raised so much is that there were 5 limpers before me pre-flop... I thought the basic play with a high pair is to raise proportionately to the number of limpers. Do you still think a 5/6xBB raise would be more appropriate?

I think you followed standard PF principal. 3xBB+1 for each limper. I actually think you played this as good as you could. You probably have a AT,AJ or a flush draw coming along with ya which is fine. GH
"You start the game with a full pot o’ luck and an empty pot o’ experience...
The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

No, you're correct, as is Harley. I hadn't realise so many had limped. KK plays less well multi-way so you're correct to raise it up as you did. Well played.

I like the preflop raise and would be pretty sure you're ahead when you got your money in. I'm guessing you lost this hand to a flush or similar, hence why you're posting here. If that's the case just remember you got your money in good. What happens after is irrelevant. Nh.

    You played it very nice.

Would have played my hand the same way.

Edit: Thinking again i would maybe not raise that much, just to 1$ or a bit under, just to get a little more money.. :P

    Played perfectly.

PFR is standard for .01/.02 as they don't respect anything less than .10 to .15 as a raise, the rest they interpret as a check...

I like it, think you played it fine.

Well, I'm just starting out so I can't really comment on how it could be played (people here seem to like it, so that's good), but it looks like you ran into a Set to me.

    Edit: My reading comprehension fails.

At the 2cent level they can easily be holding anything. A majority of the time you'll be ahead.
It's possible there's a set here, but it easily could be TPTK + Flush draw, middle pair gone crazy, or just a dumb bluff. At the 2cents I've seen it all.
Whatever happens, make a note and play on.
