You could 3bet the flop more. Put the decision to your opponent.

Villains PFR would be handy to know

I was holding KK, and when he re-raised me on the flop I figured he had Q's. But I am not sure what to do when he went all in?

I called all in because I had over pair, and I felt that I would win. But it might have been I was too attached to my cards?

I guess if I 3bet a lot more like OhBollocks said, it would make a decision easier for me. But how much higher can I raise when he has only $1.40 in his stack?

Villains minraise here is either a set, TPGK, or air.

I think this hand shows all the fun of low stakes poker. Villain could have almost anything (unless you have some read of his range). After being check-raised on the flop i would feel i might be beat (most players play their cards and the board at this limit). i would just call rather than reraise and see if villain checks to me again and go from there.

I would probably 3-bet him to $2.40 or putting him all-in. I can't see laying down kings on this flop.

AQ, KQ, and QJ are probably paying you off. AK might be folding or calling hoping to hit.

AA and QQ are beating you. Did you ever see the villain 3bet?

Villain also could have hit a strange two pair combo, but you still have a chance of the board pairing up.

exactly why you either 3bet a good size or push, and be committed either way.

Considering that BB stacked off here, I really love his minraise with his entire stacking off range (which is strong).

I like a flop 3-bet to put him all in. At the very least you're putting the pressure on him to make the decision of whether or not he wants to put all of it in the middle. Judging from how he played it, AQ is pretty prominent. Most players at these stakes aren't going to get away from this hand. Not to say that he couldn't have QQ or AA or something like that.

right, but is this what you want to do? If you just want to constantly replay Rounders in your head while you shove your big hands, that's one approach. But if you're trying to maximize the value of your big hands, I think you're off.

lol rilla you make me smile. i realize that im not a pro or even CLOSE to it. Im still learning which is why im posting here. To learn new ways of playing. What would you have done here? Just flat call the flop? Reraise him? Fold?

You shouldn't worry about how my decision differs from yours. Ideally, you'd consider how my thought process (which lead to my decision) differs from yours.

I may have shoved, but it wouldn't have been because I want to put him to a decision but rather because I felt this would look most bluffy to him or that I knew he couldn't fold his entire raising range which KK has good equity against.

I haven't really looked at the hand, I have just been surfing replies.
