2 Things that have helped me that might help you too
I'm too newbie to actually give gameplay advice (I'm still reading stickeys over and over and being a sponge), but I have 2 things that others might find useful so I decided to share them.
Tip 1. Winsplit Revolution - http://winsplit-revolution.com/
Found this last week, takes a bit of practice but now I love it.
This is a free program that automatically sizes windows perfectly and either auto-places them or allows you to put them in the spot you want on your screen perfectly for either 4-tabling or 9-tabling. After installing it, choose a table and press cntl+alt+Number-Pad-7 to place that window in the top left 1/4 of your screen. Press the same keys again to place it in the top left 1/9 of your screen. Use cntl+alt+Number-Pad-9 for the top right 1/4 or press twice for 9-tabling, 8 for top middle, 5 for middle, 1 for lower left, you get the idea. I suggest you get comfy with it by opening some play tables first, it doesn't take long to get used to it. I'd be happy to try to help you with it if you have any questions.
Tip 2. Table felt colors.
I play mostly on Full Tilt 5.00 sngs lately 3-4 at a time. I change the color of my table felts constantly while I play (right click on table) to help remind me visually of how I'm supposed to be playing each table.
i.e. my current color code is
Stainless Steel - beginning of tourney or nearing SS or for whatever other reason on that table - ultratight!
Red felt - Under 10x BB all in or fold
Green felt - on/near bubble push people around!
Blue felt - in the money
I hope this helps someone!
