    Default $5 - Heads Up & Slowplaying

When I get to heads up I am usually down in chips sometimes as much as 3:1. Do you slowplay when heads up to try and double up or do you just play your big hands strong?

If opponent is super loose, then I would just likely play this strong. This opponent wasn't super loose nor tight...somewhere in the middle.

Limping like this every once in a while against the right type of player and prior action is fine, but pot the flop so you don't get turned by 78o.

I like to basically play straight up with my big hands. If you 3x and he calls. You could then push the flop and not have to worry about the turn. As you played it, you had him on a lonely pair. The turn raise makes me think villain has more then a Q...You could have open pushed the flop as well.

What he said. If you're going to play like this then you need to pot the flop and push the turn rather than donkminbetting giving him 3:1 odds to call.

if you haven't limped before and it's almost the middle of a HU, this trap is suspicious even for donkish players.. you should also consider that..
