    Default hand from villains perspective.

Okay this is seen from villains perspective (SB/Hero). i am the button ldo. ive never done one like this, and i thought this was an interesting hand.

so we have played for stacks a couple times already in this session, and we each won one, and i got caught bluffing him once, dont remember the HH. we have history past that but nothing too crazy, and he probably has over 2k hands on me, so he knows i cbet a lot and that im pretty aggressive. now the question here is if he should be shoving here, or just calling.

I don't like "your" pre-flop call. Moving on - what does villain make hero's range to be? I'd guess:

    monsters: 44, AA, 55, 66, A4, 7c8c
middling: lower flushes (figure Ac Xc would bet that flop usually), 78?, 4x
air: missed high cards, pairs turned into a bluff, missed heart flush draw (but that would usually bet the flop), 67 turned into a bluff, a few other random things that just floated the turn

Obviously the air insta-folds to a push. The monsters snap-call and put the smack down. The middling hands are the problem - these are the hands "you" beat and I don't think they make up enough of the range to get value from, at least not enough to offset when you run into a monster. I think 78 is pretty unlikely unless it was 7h8h, and if hero happened to have trips it seems likely he would have bet the flop or raised the turn - so basically the only hands a push is getting value from are worse flushes.

    I think it's a call.

I really could never put you on AcXc. But your line just doesnt make sense for anything except maybe 55 or 66, and I say thats a very large part of your range. But I would think he should be calling for the bet size also. 88 seems like you want him to call, if i was stone cold bluffing i wouldnt be making it barely less than 3x
here is my inspiration, ISF upset that he lost a dollar: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...806.html#28211

I would just call. So many big money passive players in that game.

Call b/c it's really doubtful button with call a shove with worse on this board and he can easily have better.
