Default 200NL - Overpair gets raised on dry flop

Im playing without HUD, villian is kinda nitty and was in line so far. Folding seems too exploitable, do we have a plan for the turn when we call, do we move in now?

    $1/$2 No Limit Holdem
    10 players
    Converted at weaktight.com

    Stacks:
    UTG ($200.00)
    UTG 1 ($229.35)
    UTG 2 ($42.70)
    MP1 ($40.75)
    MP2 ($135.35)
    Hero ($227.00)
    CO ($229.55)
    BTN ($229.50)
    SB ($209.30)
    BB ($93.95)

    Pre-flop: ($3, 10 players) Hero is MP3
5 folds, Hero raises to $8, 2 folds, SB calls $7, 1 fold

    Flop: ($18, 2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12, SB raises to $39, $27 to Hero ($207)?

To me it seems like a flop that could actually hit a flat from a nitty player in the SB. He could flat w/of course any of these pp's or a suited connector like 67s, 89s. I would probably call the raise and see what the turn brings. He could either check the turn if he's scared of you or if he bets small enough you could call and evaluate again on the river. But I wouldn't be afraid to fold this hand if he keeps pushing if you really do think he's pretty nitty and not overly aggro w/marginal hands.

Against some nitty regulars I don't think folding is that bad.

I am hard pressed to fold this on a blank turn. We're in late position. If u raised utg, and he c/r u like this, then u can think about folding flop.

I'd call the flop, and I might fold a blank turn, but I'm gonna need some additional info to be convinced. You are just gonna have to play some poker. I think nits tend not to follow through, so just do what feels right.

depends on what villain thinks of you. i know im almost never folding flop since i have a terrible image

yeah i would call flop and make a read on the turn. If hes a nit and leads the turn strong a fold there is fine.

I'm a bit torn here, you are in LP so your range should be rather wide. QQ is very strong then.

His raise is bigger then a normal stab and he takes the time to type a odd number in, odd numbers from a random = power more then not. But it might be due to him being oop.

It's been awhile since I played without hud in a full ring game, but it's QQ. I call and reevaluate turn.
