Poker Vidoes ( Buffering ! )

    Default Poker Vidoes ( Buffering ! )

    Hi,

    Im new to this site and relatively new to poker to poker

    Iam trying to watch the online videos here but there are continually buffering and will not play. Does anybody have any ideas please?

    that happened to me before and I just refreshed it and hit pause right away. After I noticed the bar was indeed moving I hit play and it worked fine

    give IE a try too and you'll know if it's a browser problem or not

    you can always pause it for a little while before you start watching it so it has a chance to download. It probably thinks your connection is faster than it is for some reason.

    yea that's exactly what I did and it worked fine. If you try to watch it right when you load it, chances are it'll be on buffer quite a bit.

    Default Any other suggestions?

    The videos are still stuck on buffering. iv tried pausing them while loading with no luck. My connection in fine as well but i still cant watch anything.

    Any help appreciated

    i've had the same problem

    but got it to work after attempting multiple times
    by reopening FTR, that seemed to work for me

    There was a thread a few months ago where someone posted instructions on downloading the videos for viewing locally on your computer. Does anyone know where that is?


    Bigbags, do you have any trouble viewing videos on YouTube? This may not be relevant at all, as YouTube's videos are limited to something like 5 minutes running time, whereas our videos run between 30 min to an hour long. This heavy buffering may be a factor. And the server where the videos are hosted may need to be upgraded. But I'm curious, nonetheless.

    For me I cant watch youtube videos or anything streaming, but I know its just my connection (128k ISDN).
    Just dipping my toes back in.
