 Adjusting pre flop odds to player number and bet sizes
Heres for my first ever post on FTR! 
first of all thanks to everyones efforts, ive been coming to the site for a couple of weeks now and picked up lots of info which i feel has been valuable to my game. Cheers dudes!
Now, i've been reading a lot of posts on how to play high hands pre flop and whether it is better to make people fold, increasing the odds to win or making people call, increasing the pot size but decreasing te odds to win. I figure after an endless discussion the concensus is that that there is a negative relation between the chance to win with high pocket pair and the the size of the pot as a consequence of many calls. Fine.
But i think that there is more to the equation. I figure if all (or very many) people raise or call a raise we must assume that that they have high cards. Now there's 20 high cards (10+) in the deck Which iplies that the chance for your opponents to hit their pair (or set if they hold a PP too) is diminished largely. This gives your KK or AA considerably more strength. consequently this would imply that a multiwaty pot like discribed aboce should never be played with KA because chances to hit are diminisched so much.
In short Many callers/raisers (couple of times BB at least) pre flop, increase the odds for high pocket pairs decreasing opponents chances of hitting pairs/sets. Conversly Few callers/raisers (especially with small calls/raises) increase odds for non PP hands like AK, AQ and KQ, since many small carsd are held by opponents.
So thats what i missed when reading a number of threads on pre flop value of certain hands (might be i just didnt find it of course  )
