    Default When to go 2nl-5nl

Hey I recently won a freeroll and have been playing 2nl to grind up some kind of roll. I'm wondering what BR you guys would recomend for moving up to 5nl, keeping in mind i cannot redeposit. 2nl is easy money, but its getting really boring because even though so far i am maintaining over 50 PTBB/100 i feel i am not improving at all as any kind of play is rewarded against a field of 100% donks. Would i be safe moving up at $100?

    Thanks in advance

I'm sorry to be harsh to new members and lock threads; however, this particular subject has been discussed countless times all across this site. Check out the Beginner's Digest, as well as trying the search feature in the future for general questions such as this. You are not the first to wonder proper bankroll management procedures for the microstakes.

To save you some time, yes $100 is a fine roll to move to 5nl and see how things go, keeping in mind that you must move down if you start losing. Generally the accepted rule is 20 buyins (so 2000bb) for the stakes you wish to move to.
