hmmm, i'm experimenting with the half-stack strategy and i guess i still haven't really adjusted to preflop 3bets/4bets yet. i always call a 3bet full-stacked in position with JJ. | |

you are in position but he raised you (UTG) out of position. Considering pot/stack size pushing pre is best, but I think a fold is better considering his raise in respect to your position. In other spots I'd push. | |

this can't be a fold pre vs an unknown for 42bb... we are shoving in $78 to win $175 (after rake). We need about 44% equity for shoving to be neutral EV even if cold caller folds 100% and bb calls 100% which is worse case for us obviously. | |
