Default AK makes me feel awkward

50NL 100BB effective in both hands.

    Hand 1:

I'm in the BB with :Ah::Kh:.
Folded round to a Poker Forum TAG who makes it 2 to go on the button, and another Poker Forum TAG makes it $6.75.

    I fold.

Hand 2: I'm in the SB with :As::Kd:

    Unknown scandinavian called crazySWE limps
Folds round to a Poker Forum TAG who raises to 2 on the button.
    I threebet to 7.
    crazySWE minfourbets to 12.

    Call? Shove? Fold?

Also, do I call with the intention of folding everything but nut draws, or call with the intention of stacking off on A or K-high flops?

Hand 1: i think you have to 4 bet here, button raise is such a wide range and chances are SB knows this and can re pop with a fairly wide range. I'd make it 20 to go and think about calling a shove..

Hand 2: Yeah, this looks like a big hand but i think you can call and fold everything but nut draws.

Hand #1: I have no problem calling here and playing post-flop poker. If they are TAG, then they should play their hands pretty standard and you can put the right ranges on them.

Hand #2: How many nut draws are you going to flop with AKo? What was the button's action after CrazySWE's min 4bet?
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

fold in hand 1 is bad because of buttons raising range and SB 3-betting against that range fairly wide.

hand 2 i really dont see folding to a minraise, but post flop will be a difficult situation.
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Agreed. I call both. Hand 1 id be pretty confident in if i hit an A/K. Hand 2 is a little more difficult and id proceed with caution.

    I would 4-bet hand 1

Hand 2 I would call but be very careful if you hit your K

i'd overcall hand 1 since you have position.

Doesn't that just encourage the button to come along cheaply, putting you OOP for the rest of the hand?

I fold AK to a raise and 3bet in small stakes games because the 3bet range is still quite tight.
I hate cold calling anything here, raise or fold IMO.

Not in 6max and not given the positions.
I raise hand 1 and think about pushing hand 2. Might just call hand 2.

the only hands that really call have us smoked.
    We have nothing invested either.
fwiw, i think having QQ here is a much tougher decision.
