After its switch to the Prima Network, Doyles Room shortly thereafter had to stop accepting US customers for real money play. Doyle was quoted on a few different shows and interviews about how terrible he felt about the UIGEA and how bad he thought this was for poker in general. All in all, this decision was above his head because he obviously would want everyone to be able to play.

Well earlier this week, it was announced that Doyles Room once again is taking US customers for real money play! This is great news for US players and online poker, and we hope more rooms will start to move back.

The only downside about this is being a part of the Prima network, they can only partially accept certain states. 12 states in all are still blocked, because of certain regulating laws at the state level; Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and Washington. If you reside in one of those states, unfortunately you still will not be able to play at Doyles Room. However, I believe they are taking the correct steps and hopefully one day will be able to accept all of the US again.
