2-5, kinda nitty game with aware players with various leaks.

Slightly over-weight lady limps from the Hi-Jack. She's chatty and been talking about poker with the other players. ABC weakish stuff. She's got over 1k and mentioned having enough to cover her tourney buy-in. Hence, I don't think she's at all keen on playing a big pot with a marginal hand. I have about $500 and just sat down.
Folded to me.
I have AK from BB and make it $20

I bet $30, she pretty quickly calls.

I check, she bets $60, I pause a couple seconds, then put 2 stacks of red into the pot for $200 flat.

She tanks and it's pretty clear she stepped into it.

"You seem pretty happy I bet", etc. really reaching for a read, I have my head on my hands looking at her giving nothing.

She asks "Do you want me to call?" Hadn't thought much about this question and wasn't going to answer. After she asks again I go Caro and answer "I could go either way."

She starts to count something out (outs?), then calls after several more seconds. I seriously considered putting here on a clock. I'm also checking any Queen or 7 on the river.

River is a 6 and I stick the rest in (about $240)...

How did I do?

I think your turn raise is too big against someone unwilling to put a lot of money into the pot without a hand that beats you.

I prefer a c/c river. I'm not sure she's paying you off with a worse ace and I doubt she's folding A9/A8. I hope she didn't have T7...

I thought about it. I don't like giving her a free $240 value bet when she's good. I also think there is value in not showing my hand here.

I like a light value bet of $100 because:
if she's missed her draw if you value bet she folds... and you don't have to show
if she's got you beat you dumped extra money
if she's holding an weak ace or a pp, she might fold to the push but call the $100

I agree. It sounds like at this stage in your session it would be a pretty big gain to you to not show your hand. I really like everything you did here. You said she was counting outs which means it had to be J10 or a heart draw. Maybe J-10 hearts or 87 hearts.

Any word on what she had?

i would just bet half pot on turn for value. i think c/r ing for value is spew. from the description i dont think she is betting turn with just one pair unless its AK, which is unlikely anyway. i think it turns your hand into a bluff when you might be able to milk 120ish out of her if you bet/fold both streets.

check / call and blocking bet on river seems good too

I like the way you played it because regardless of her actions or hand, you send a message to the whole table.

I.e. You're aggressive and willing to get your whole stack in. That's a good image to have facilitating the collection of a lot of smaller pots uncontested.

I think that your river bet should have been smaller. I know the pot was $500, but I doubt she has a anything other than: A better hand than yours, or she missed a draw. Therefore I check.

I check/raise too often. If I was only like $250-$300 deep it would be the PERFECT spot for it.

Anyway, she folded to the river bet pretty quickly. Table puts me on a set of Aces and I accidently flash an Ace to a couple players as I muck.

I asked her if she had JT. She said that would be a pretty bad call since she wasn't getting good enough of a price. Combo draw? Did I blow AQ/AJ out of the pot? Hmmm....

I like the value bet on the river rather than push for the reasons mentioned. I also like the c/r on the turn, disguises AK somewhat.

If you just sat down, she might put you on an overpair that you'd get married to if she hit her mult-way draw, thinking she gets your stack if she hits.
