    Default My nuts got cracked

I dont label many hands a bad beat, I'm pretty sure this qualifies in anyones book. Btw, anyone wondering about the min-raises, this guy was a donkey, I figured as long as I kept the betting open he'd get us both AI.

I saw that hand, that sucks really badly. That said, when the money went it you were "only" a 3:1 favourite.

Really? I'd have thought with 2 outs I'd have been further ahead?

Ah well, it actually didnt upset me that much. The hand was just a bit too amazing to see to get annoyed. I did grab a cup of tea before starting another though .

That's a pretty amazing hand. Don't know that I've ever seen that before.

Take some time learning to read the board. I can't even figure out which two outs you think you mean?

also, QQ is the nuts on that flop, and Q3 is another hand thats ahead of you.

If the turn and river are the same card, ie a six on the turn and a six on the river you will lose. Not sure how many outs this counts as? Half an out?

If either the turn or river pair his 4 you also lose so thats another 3 outs.

I think he just wanted to use the expression "my nuts got cracked"

You donk n'goers need to learn to play after the flop.

That first includes reading the board properly. He has 4 outs on the turn and he'll have 7 on the river, you're like a 3:1 favorite when the chips go in.

Yeah, I worked it out after posting. I was forgetting his 4 pairing gives him a bigger fullhouse than mine, and dont even know why I thought that left two, I should have said 1.

That said, if its a mistake to get all your chips in with a 3:1 advantage then I'm not sure what hand you think I should be looking for.

I know its not the absolute nuts, but its close enough to use in the title. The chances of him holding two Qs or Q3 must be remote enough that I can treat it as the nuts for betting purposes.
