Default Flopped Nut Flush: How'd I play it?

    Unraised pot preflop.
3 handed, meaning me and two suckers.

    I had :Kh: :Jh: OOP

    Flop was

I checked flop (it was checked through), turn came another heart, I checked again (weaker flush would bet, right?) some guy bets half of the small pot, 2nd villain folds, I smooth call.

River I donkbet pot it. He folds. Was I destined to rake in nothing or did I misplay my hand?

in that situation i like to bet out around half pot on the flop to make it seem like i have top pair and just want to take it down. in my experience that has gotten decent action from a smaller flush or maybe a re-raise from 2 pair. however, you are not going to get any real action in an unraised pot unless someone else hits a decent hand or wants to bet at it. you may be losing the small bet that was made on the turn, but if you are looking for a big pot i think that is your only hope.

Flopped flush is a terrible hand to slowplay because I feel like it nearly always gives up your hand. You gotta maintain some aggression repping a made hand and as if you didn't believe anyone had hit their flush. I've found this works the best on small stakes I dunno about higher stakes though. (maybe I should just have QFT'd papal)
