Default 22 200NL vs familiar opp

Same opp as in my KQ thread this happened at the very end of my session. he is 20/18 still capable of some moves but not overly aggro etc.

Again im very tight PF so my UTG PFR should get some respect. Flop is okay so i c/b. his call i think can incl draws (but im not sure if too many FD combos he could have vs me), pairs floating/slowplaying, air is possible.

Turn. im only looking at 2nd barrelling lately so i think the T is a good card to bluff, right? id perfer and over card besides an Ace tho coz it helps my range.

River, WTF do i do? shove/c,f/b/f

    Check/fold.

If he's going to give you grief and a little action re-consider auto-betting flops OOP vs him.

oh i should add that he seemed to delay calling turn for abit

Put him on something like 88 and figure out what bet size is going to get him to fold.

yea ur always beat here. btw std line on turn here is c/f obviously....

the only way u get a fold is to shove so if u think he can fold AJ KJ QJ JT then by all mean shove- just realize it has to work a lot of the time and u need to be able to play AA KK QQ this way also against any decent opp.

I agree with Sauce. If he paused before calling the turn bet and you think you can push him off his hand, you need to shove. In my experience a large value bet won't get him off his hand, since he made his decision to "go for it" on the turn.
Personally I c/f, but what the hell I'm a nit.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Agree totally but Ive got to second barrel some to, especially from UTG. I find im being floated alot nowadays so i need this move and I need to know more about opp's right?

results?? is this just a 2nd barrel that didnt work? SHoving river could work but is probably spew without better reads, amirite?

The other adjustment is to c-bet less OOP. Let the button floater have a couple empty pots, then nail him.

Agreed, I dont overdo the c/b actually. roughly 60/70% off the top of my head (not sure what are the stats for IP/OOP tho).

Ive become aware that when I check flops im not adding in a balance with good hands (even if a just do it a small % of the time). Its something i gotta look at but will improve my postflop skill since i gotta know how to exactly play them spots (havent a clue lol)

overcards? agreed since lower PP will probably float the most and we give ourself a better chance to win

    Good discussion guys thx
