I am starting to play ring games seriously now, only played tourneys and SNG's before at Party untill the US ban. For some reason I don't do as well on PokerStars SnG's and am now trying to grind up a bankroll while learning ring. I have some general question's about ring play.

I four table the NL .02/.05 cent tables on Poker Stars cause I'm trying to follow the bankroll management rules. My usual style is loose agressive but I am trying to play tight because loose agressive just does't work on the low limit tables for me (many players seeing flop, lots of calling stations, etc)

1) My average % of hands to flop is about 25-28% is that way too much?

2) What are the best strategies/style to use when playing on the micro tables.

3) Seem to be having trouble with raising premium hands preflop enough to isolate. If I raise 4-8x BB....3 or 4 of the limpers always call. If I reraise a raise 3-5 times they still call.

1. if you play full ring and just starting out, yes. if you play 6-max and just starting out, yes. so, yes. it's probably way to much, you could fold some more preflop.

2. tight aggressive, ABC poker. don't get fancy. read stickies in the beginner forum, read hands, post hands, ask everything!

3. do you raise your non-premium hands too? if 4xbb is not enough, raise more to isolate. don't go crazy though, i think someone else has a better idea about what to do about this.
