    Default Blind Defense Question

1:2 blind structure, unknown player's first orbit, 5-handed he open raises from button, SB folds.

From the BB, how wide is the range of hands we reraise with?

I picked a few hands and answered 3bet/fold/call, please correct errors/comment:

    A8s - 3bet
    A8o - call
    A2s - call
    A2o - fold
    K9s - 3bet
    K9o - call
    K4s - call

I would raise any ace here and a lot of Kxs

With no read, I'm assuming about a 30% range for button, so I want to raise about 15%, call around 35-40%, and fold 45-50%. I'm definitely calling a lot more than raising due to being out of position. My raise range here is something like A5s, K9s, QJs, A8o, KJ0, 55. Pretty close to my 5-handed UTG raising standards with more value on high cards and pairs. I'll call with hands as bad as say Q30 or T8o or 97s. The pot odds are good, so a lot of hands are playable, but I wouldn't go as far as raising any Ace ... A2o rates to be worse than an aggressive player's range to open raise from the button, so why would I want to 3-bet it with no reads?

There's been the occassional thread here about passive blind defense. With little info on the opponent, that's my default play, and it seems to have worked well. A lot of the reasons for raising at a short table no longer apply from the BB, so for me it comes down to asking myself if my hand is good enough to raise for value.
