    Default Blogs

I know you have a blog page for the better and more loyal FTR'ers but what about a forum for the rest of us to post as sort of our own goals and happenings. We have a few guys running some pretty good blogs and goal posts in other forums and even more running them on other blog sites. I think it would enhance the traffic to FTR instead of to other blog sites. Maybe just a forum for keeping us accountable to ourselves. I don't want to take away from the actual blog page but maybe a forum of its own. Or is there actually one forum you prefer us to do that in now. Most seem to be in the Etcetera forum but some are in the beginner and strat forums.

    Thanks.

alot of people use poker etc for this type of stuff. i remember when i first came to FTR, everyone had their own "operation" thread. we all set goals then chronicled it in the thread. i bet it would actually be pretty funny to look back at all of those for the people who have been here for a while.

This is a little sample of the blogs not being updated and it's a shame, there are some great players on that list. Maybe we could find a few of the newer and higher stakes players to replace some of these out of date blogs. I'm not volunteering, I suck, but they can provide some interesting thoughts into some of the riggers of climbing the ranks. I'd like to see more.

I agree to some degree with jym, but will offer a separate thought:

If you want people to update their blogs, comment on 'em. Seriously. Comments are how we become aware that people are actually reading the stuff and it's worth the time to update.
