    Default Implied odds and folding

If your opponent does not have the implied odds to play, can you fold your hand, should you fold your hand??

Example, you raise from EP with KK, single shortstacked opp calls. his stack is such that he is getting say 6:1 odds on your pf raise. You lead the flop and he bets AI. regardless of reads, is it ever okay to fold, or does any fold equity that your opp gains from your willingness to fold make his pf call less of a mistake?

same question with suspected flushdraws vs. sets.

The way to crush shortstacks is to deny them any fold equity, imo, even at the risk of doubling them up. I need a really, really good read to fold KK or a set to a shortie's ai on the flop.
