LAG Holdem is Small Pot Poker
I've been experimenting with a looser style of play lately with mixed success. Ultimately, I must say that I believe TAG players should try playing like their looser nemeses. It's good to learn how to play basic LAG holdem so that you can better get inside loose players' heads at the table and make some better reads.
A major point that I've picked up playing loose holdem (suited Kx, suited Ax, sc's, sg's, small pp, 89o, 2 gappers, other junk) is that you are basically betting most of the time post flop (against 2-3) on draws, bluffs, mid pair, etc. hoping to steal or suckout. Also, you're usually bailing against any significant resistance. The fun part is when you pickup a strong hand, and Tight Tad is tired of you taking every pot + outdrawing his beloved AJ, and starts contesting a huge pot with you.
Anyway I'm just posting this to say that info picked up from playing LAG can help your TAG game- like when a LAG player is calling your huge bets on every street, he's not necessary behind .
