    Never read any stickies or announcements
    There's a lot of ways I think this hand could conceivably be played, but I don't see anything wrong with the line you took.

    You're obviously never getting away here if you're beat, so figure out how to get the money in against AK/AA and you're good.

    i think bet/3bet line is best on this flop, if he's a strong player he'll put draws in your range.

    there are a lot of lines you can use, they all involve getting all-in, but i like yours best here esp with so little behind.

    I'm gonna hijack my own thread: should draws be in my range here? He obviously didn't put them in my range, he folded. Which leads me to think that draws _should_ be in my range here more often than it is.

    Put him on AK w/no diamonds and you with QdTd:

    990 games 0.030 secs 33,000 games/sec

    Board: Jd 4d Kh
    Dead:

    equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
    Hand 1: 52.1212 % 52.12% 00.00% { QdTd }
    Hand 2: 47.8788 % 47.88% 00.00% { AcKc }

    yes, you should be doing this with QdTd, AdQd, KdQd, and etc. if the player is in any way capable of laying down a pair.

    this isnt a bit results oriented?

    couple of scare cards can land on the turn (straighting and flush-ening) 3-betting is appropriate.

    Yeah, with a coordinated board and a half stack this is a clear flop 3bet-push.

    so if we dont lose a stack here we didnt play it right imo.

    Stick this at 400nl and we might have a non standard question.

    Eh maybe I guess.

    But if I chose call / lead turn I pretty much made up my mind I'm putting my stack in no matter what falls on the turn.

    I remember getting flak'ed on the "decide to get all in biut dont push just yet" line in the SnG forum a while back, but I think this might be a place to use it. But WTF Im drunk now, Im gonna try and put my thoughts down tomorrow. (lets all laugh at me lol)
